Rester

Rester Oy is a Finnish company building internationally remarkable circular solution for recycling textiles for B2B market. Rester is the anchor company of a circular-hub for textiles, located in Paimio, Finland.

Rester is established 2019 and first mechanical textile opening line started 2021. October 2022, our new recycling hub was opened in Southwest Sweden, Rydboholm, to better service the Scandinavian market and August 2023 Rester Textil Sweden AB was established.

Our circular economy plant refines fabrics into new, high quality raw material. The recovered fibers can be used to manufacture yarn, fabric, and various non-woven materials, such as insulation, acoustic panels and filter fabrics, as well as composite. During the mechanical recycling process, the textile grades can be mixed to achieve a desired outcome. We currently handle cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester, wool, polypropylene, and mixed materials.

Together with our clients we are a part of the change and solution for climate crises and over usage of natural sources. By using high-quality Rester fibres instead of virgin raw materials, you can save approximately 2 million litres of water and deduct more than 5000 kg of CO2 (ekv) per 1000 kgs of textiles. Rester is using only b-to-b textile waste from traceable sources. Rester has received GRS sertificate and The Finnish Key Flag symbol to our products."
